his Lordship can be imparted to younger generations to carry to the next level. Moreso, the need to provide the next general church with biblical leadershipprompted the commencement of CILATS on the 22nd of January, 2007. The Institute has men and women of tested integrity, consistent in faith,
knowlegeable in Christian ethics and doctrines as council members.
The staff crew are made up of trained, and dependable people who are
capable to deliver at all season. The non-tutorial staff are well to reckon with both in and out of duty post.
The institute shares an acre and half of land with her mother church. Located
at Km. 24, Lagos Badagry Expressway, by Cele NICA Bus Stop, Mebamu,
Okokomaiko, Lagos State, Nigeria.
OBJECTIVES:
a). To equip called men and women for inward and outward work of
the christian ministry.
b.) Expose students to courses, trend and topics in modern missionology
for developing missionary minded church, contextualization,
understanding the global church and network.
c.) To raise leadership for churches that will vigorously pursue the
restoration of orthodox norms, ethics and doctrine as was laid down
by the Apostolic and church fathers.
MISSION STATEMENT: calvary institute of leadership and theological
studies (CILATS) exist to raise men and women
of integrirty with spiritual depth, who will
carry the Gospel to the unreached and stimulating
national, global revival.
PROGRAMME REQUIREMENT/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have WASC/GCE/TCII or any of such equivalent with government
approved institution. Apllicants must be convinced of God's calling to
ministry upon their life; must passs CILATS interview.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENT:
A student is required to successfully complete six-eight credits hours courses
consisting of twenty-eight courses with a minimum of 2.0 G.P.A. FOR DLTH
A student nshould also make a total of 80% clas attendance of the total semesters.
PROFESSIONAL TRACKS
CILATS programmes are designed to prepare students for a higher-level
specialized career in different christian ministry.
The courses are treated under the following tracks.

* Missionology
* Christian Education
* Music.
LESSON ORGANIZATION AND STUDY METHOD
Classes hold three times in a week between the hours of 5pm-7:45pm and 9am - 3:45pm, Monday, Friday and Saturday. Within this period of time a student is expected to have covered five courses.
The courses are prepared to present students with:
1. Course Title
2. Course Outline
3. Learning activities
4. Development question.
The course outline is aimed at giving students an overview of the course, help them to focus on the most vital points, information as they study, as well as show them what to learn. It also aims at helping students to study and follow their lectures thoroughly.
TENETS OF FAITH
1. I believe in the inspiration of the Bible as the divine word of God, the only infallible innerrorant, sufficient auhtoritative rule of faith and practice.
2. Believe in one God, eternally existence in the Holy Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost each with personality and deity.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ manifested in the flesh through the virgin birth, died on the cross of Calvary for the redemption of human race and that faith in His finished work saves.
4. Beleive in the resurrection of Jesus christ and that there is one universal church.
